WHAT DO WE BELIEVE

 

Dear friends,

Believing and trusting in the one , true and living God can sometimes
be challenging. Many of us claim to be faithful followers, but when we
are put to the test, our standard changes.

As carnal beings, we fall short. However, it is better to confess when
we have done wrong, rather than cover it up. Satan loves us to be 
deceived . He skillfully uses it against us, without us taking notice.

Jesus went to the cross to pay the price of our sins, but that
should not be an open ended invitation to sin unlimited. Sin 
will not take us to heaven. Everyone of us will one day die 
and have to account for our actions. 

Over the years, I have been to many churches and been disenchanted
about what is defined as Christianity. Some people believe going to 
church on a regular basis and being part of church activities, as well
as well large tithes , is all that is required.

Some believe having gifts like singing in the choir or being a family 
member of a famous person gets us closer to God.
