WHAT DOES THIS MEAN

What does this mean? Revelation 3 : 15-16
I know thy works, Thou art neither cold nor hot, because thou art lukewarm, I will spit thee out of my mouth.

Simple explanation:

Many Christians will claim to be believers ( pretenders) and go to church. They engage in what are called Christian activities. But, their hearts are not in one with God’s will.

According to the word of God, such people will be rejected by him.
