There are many parents and children who look
forward to celebrating Halloween. It is a much
anticipated time of year.

Question about Halloween

Have you ever stopped to question the origin
of Halloween? Most people, including Christians,
celebrate this time of year, with no consideration
for its origin. 

I decided to research this festival and I am sharing
my findings. Halloween is identified as a very old,
pagan, religious celebration.

It is a festival called Samhain, celebrated by Celtic
people of Ireland and England. Halloween was celeb
- rated by people dressing up in costumes and lighting
bonfires with the intention of warding off evil spirits.

My brothers in Christ, let us not lose our focus and
the love of Jesus Christ. He sarcrificed His life to
give us eternal life. We give the honor to Him.
