WHAT EXACTLY IS PRUNING?

Hi guys,

Welcome to another week of life. I thank God for everyday.

I pass out flowers to people and there is usually a card with

a message in each one.

"Pruning" has been a common word on many of these cards.

I did not know how to respond when people would ask what it meant.

Then one day recently, the Lord showed me a vision of how to interpret

what it meant.

I will try my best to explain. When a tree has many branches which are

no longer of any use, the extra branches are cut off, making the tree stronger

and more able to grow well. So, does God prune us, by trimming away what

is not necessary ( like some friends and activities we get involved in) for our

spiritual growth and thus making us a better person, in Christ.
